On the Edge, Pilatus, Switzerland
Shot from the Funicular; a church, teetering on the ledge, holding on faith that the earth won't let it down.

WHY?

So about one year ago, upon my exodus from a dark and somewhat dusty architecture studio I received a beautiful Nikon to call my own. With this stunning apparatus I set out to conquer and immortalize the world. I've taken hundreds of pictures; admittedly some lacked subject matter, others lacked something one might call 'soul', but some, despite an amateur hand, catch a bit of the artistic eye. To these lucky fellows I would give a complimentary pause, letting them know that I really appreciate their inception, that they are rather good looking and should remain so; then I proceeded to file them away, never to return to them again. It has taken me a year to realize this injustice. This cannot be. They deserve to see the world!
My goal is to now, slowly, begin to right this wrong. To publish those pictures that caused me to pause, to smile, to exhale, to want to transport myself to those frozen moments over and over again.
I hope that you may receive as much pleasure as I in the perusing of these prints... although not printed... and not blue... they'll hopefully lay the framework, 'be the plans', that cause bigger and better things to be built.
cheers!
